This job is high-trust and high collaboration so we want someone who works well in teams, but can also work unsupervised. The role is based out of Austin Texas, you'd be joining a team expanding in the United States with support from the international business. A big part of this role is being able to proactively pursue clients in your accounts and campaign for their best outcomes and deliverables:

  • Full-time (we're flexible with hours, as there will be international timezones to work with)
  • Competitive Target Salary, depending on experience, deal history, and network
  • at least 3 years of experience.
  • Prior experience should be enterprise software or data sales or transport consulting and experience in negotiating complex deals and government demand generation; ITS or telematics a plus


What you’ll do

  • proactively pursue, Find, and execute on transport use-cases using Compass data to leverage existing and new investments. You will be assuming accountability for a sales number for net new accounts as well as retention of those accounts.
  • provide advice to compass clients on the application of connected vehicle data
  • Work with the data scientist and software teams to campaign internally for your customers interests
  • Work with civil engineer team ‘to bring multi-disciplinary insights to customers

About you:

We're looking for someone who is a go-getter, self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently. Ideally, you've worked in enterprise software or data sales or transport consulting and have experience in negotiating complex deals and government demand generation. This includes being outcome focused, turning data into meaningful outputs for transport agencies. You should have a proven track record of driving, closing, and maintaining enterprise deals with high-level decision makers while also dealing with user-level problems. You have been front and center in client engagements, have seen a raft of different use cases and have a good standing in the industry. You're looking to move to something more flexible, fun, and want to have impact at scale. You may have even worked with Compass data before.


Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills.
