POSITION PURPOSE
The Onboarding & Talent Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the operational execution of the company’s onboarding programs and supporting talent acquisition initiatives. This role drives organizational efficiency and new team member engagement through effective onboarding and talent operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process ensuring new hires receive a consistent and positive experience, including orientation scheduling, documentation, and systems setup.
- Coordinate with Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT), and hiring managers to ensure a seamless first-day experience for new employees.
- Maintain and analyze talent acquisition and onboarding metrics; develop dashboards and prepare reports to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend process improvements.
- Support Talent Acquisition operations by coordinating interview logistics, managing hiring workflows, and assisting with recruitment initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to optimize recruiting and onboarding processes and enhance the overall candidate experience.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and related recruiting platforms.
- Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across onboarding and TA operations.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members as needed.
- Conduct recruiting activities as needed, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination, based on organizational priorities and hiring demands.
- Participate in special projects related to talent and HR initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise HR team members involved in onboarding and related tasks.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, a team member must have the following education and/or experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Three (3) years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or onboarding operations.
- Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding technology.
