What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Supervisor- 2nd Shift position at Milliner Talent Solutions?
Our client located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to add to their team. This individual will supervise 10-15 individuals, ensuring the safety and efficiency of order picking and delivery truck operations meet production requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, quality checks, and shipment preparation, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive and engaged team culture through leadership, coaching, and ongoing support.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and partners to support business objectives.
- Manage staffing schedules, attendance records, and time-off requests to meet operational needs.
- Ensure the facility is secure and properly shut down at the end of each shift.
- Comfortable operating or overseeing the use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other material-handling tools.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3 years in a supervisory role within a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and variable shifts
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
