What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticket Sales Intern position at Indy Fuel?
The Indy Fuel is looking for energetic and motivated local college students for our Ticket Sales internship program. We take pride in offering fans a fast paced and exciting hockey environment and interns are integral in making that happen. We aim to provide our interns with rich sports industry experience and help to prepare them for their future opportunities. - Research leads and local businesses, handle data entry, create sales materials, assist with events, shadow sales reps, and complete various assigned projects
- Complete phone calls and follow up on leads
- Learn and operate ticketing software to support the Ticketing Team
- Interns will be required to work most games
- Assist with game promotions and execution
- Assist Sponsorship and Ticketing department with various projects when needed
- Support front office team through various office administrative tasks
- This internship requires flexibility with work schedule
- Help prepare for the 26-27 Indy Fuel Season
Skills and Requirements
- Able to receive college credit for your internship
- Must be able to work the majority of home games
- Must be able to work a 5-8 hour office administrative shift twice a week.
- Be able to stay through majority of the 26-27 Season (October-April)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work effectively with little to no supervision
- Must be able to troubleshoot in response to challenges
- Must have excellent communication skills and act as a team ambassador with every interaction
- Must have excellent strong personal organizational skills
*Please note: Interns are paid $50 for game day shifts, though office hours and community events are unpaid. This is not a remote opportunity, must be able to travel to Indianapolis and Fishers for this internship.
