Job Description: Winter Operations Coordinator
Position Overview

Industrial Snow Services (ISS) is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and highly organized Winter Operations Assistant to support our nationwide snow and ice management operations. This is a full-time, seasonal position running from October through May, with competitive pay between $25 and $35 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the COO in setting up snow sites across multiple states.
• Drive commercial trucks (Class E license required) to deliver equipment and materials to job sites.
• Support hiring and onboarding of operators and sidewalk crews in various regions.
• Assist in training seasonal employees on equipment, protocols, and safety.
• Work long hours and travel frequently to ensure snow sites are set up, fully operational, and storm-ready.
• Respond to major snow events and emergency deployments, including regions in the Southern U.S.
• Communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and leadership.
• Support documentation and record-keeping for site setup and training procedures.
• Perform basic equipment checks and assist with fueling, placement, and labeling during deployment.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Valid Class E driver’s license (required)
• Ability to drive long distances and operate company trucks and trailers
• Experience in equipment operation or snow removal industry preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Able to work in cold weather conditions and long overnight shifts during storms
• Experience working with crews, field staff, or in construction/snow operations
• Ability to lead by example and represent ISS professionally across all regions
• Must be available full-time from October to May (some weekends and holidays during storms).
