Industrial Communications West is excited to offer an entry-level opportunity in our Grand Island warehouse. This hands-on position is perfect for individuals eager to learn the fundamentals of warehouse operations, supply chain and inventory systems in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn and operate our inventory systems with guidance from experienced staff
- Assist in receiving shipments and verifying materials
- Process orders accurately and efficiently
- Pick and pack products for delivery
- Maintain inventory accuracy through system transactions
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe
- Support product delivery and staging for outbound shipments
- Other responsibilities & duties are subject to change to meet business needs as seen fit by the management staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to lift up to fifty pounds, push, pull, stoop, bend and stand for extended periods of time
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft office inventory software a plus)
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Ability to maintain certification to operate a forklift, and pallet jack (must be 18 years old)
- Ability to successfully pass criminal background, MVR check, pre-employment drug screen
