Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and conducting daily inventory counts, implementing loss prevention procedures, and reconciliation through adjustments. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct daily cycle counts as prescribed by ERP software.
- Audit and investigate sources of known losses.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify theft or shortages.
- Identify and implement systems to minimize loss of inventory.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies according to company policies and procedures.
- Provide daily justification sheets to managers on variances with dollar amounts.
- Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed, perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, and recommend process improvements to eliminate future variances.
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures, optimizing overall location and item level accuracy, and maintaining high productivity levels.
- Research and suggest additional security measures.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent theft at point of sale or inventory storage areas.
Requirements
- Prior experience in inventory control in a distribution setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Basic Mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate equipment: Forklift, Order Picker (Training Provided).
