We're looking for a hands-on Evening Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure every dinner guest leaves with a smile.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all evening dining room activities, ensuring seamless service delivery from start to finish
- Lead, train, and develop staff members in food preparation, customer service, and food handling procedures
- Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and conduct interviews for hiring new team members
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across kitchen and dining areas while promoting a culture of food safety and cleanliness
- Collaborate with kitchen management on food quality, menu presentation, events, and banquet services to deliver fine dining and casual dining experiences
Experience
- Proven management experience within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food service management, including food preparation techniques and culinary operations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Toast for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated leadership skills in training & development, team management, and staff supervision
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including shift management, customer service excellence, catering, bar service, and kitchen management
- Prior casual dining or fine dining experience is highly desirable; hotel or banquet experience is a plus
