We are a family-friendly restaurant located inside Indian Head Resort. You will be responsible for serving drinks and food to guests and bartending weddings and events.
Lunch and dinner shifts required. Weekends and some holidays required.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and food handling regulations.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
- Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and responsible alcohol service, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and other essentials promptly to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
- Take stock of inventory and assist in liquor orders.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food orders during catering or food service events.
- Uphold all food safety standards and adhere to alcohol service regulations at all times.
- Use your knowledge of brewing techniques or restaurant experience to recommend drinks or menu items that boost sales.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience required.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is desired but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Experience serving in high-volume settings where time management is crucial.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector that demonstrates adaptability across diverse environments such as brewing venues or catering events.
