GENERAL
The evening custodian will provide services related to cleaning, securing doors, making minor repairs to facilities, and other duties as assigned. The person in this position is of vital importance to the entire operations of the campus in that the day instructors return to whatever conditions this person has left in each area. The people in these 6 buildings rely 100% on this person to clean their work space.
HOURS
)> 1:30p.m. -10:00p.m. (30 minutes for lunch)

SPECIFIC DUTIES
)> All areas listed below should be maintained on a daily basis to insure the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitary work conditions. (Sweep, Damp Mop, Fixtures, Windows, etc.)
SCHEDULE of RESPONSIBILITIES
)> Buildings B; C; D; E; F; G and occasionally as needed at OBW Site
)> Entry Area; Classroom; Office; Restrooms; Shop Sink; Water Fountain; Eye Wash Station; Other
)> Outdoor Trash Receptacles; Parking Lots; Yard Areas; Maintain Watchful Eye for Security as Needed
)> Drive Bus on an 'As-Needed' Basis (May flex hours to meet needs)
HAVE EVERYTHING LOCKED UP BY 10:00pm. SPECIAL NOTE:
**"Other as needed" may include windows, walls, doors, graffiti, dry-erase marker boards as requested, etc.
Be alert and look for any needs in areas as you work and address anything that needs to be cleaned.
**1:30 - 3:30 timeframe has students & instructors on campus. This time may be utilized to have conversations with day staff regarding issues, needs, etc.; stock supply cart, prepare cleaning equipment, inventory cleaning needs and schedule days work, order supplies, work on equipment, clean unoccupied areas, etc.
**If all scheduled areas are caught up, tile areas in classrooms and offices should be burnished when possible.
Spray-buff or restore technique can be utilized. Must make sure tile is very clean prior to any burnishing.
**Carpet shampooing and tile stripping/refinishing will be scheduled for June-July, during which time, hours worked will be 7:00am - 5:30pm Mon. - Thurs. If special shampooing or stripping/refinishing is needed, may be scheduled with Camus Director.
**Evening custodian may be expected to carry a walkie-talkie radio in order to be easily accessible to ACD
personnel when needed.

Empty and remove trash.
Fill the following dispensers: towels, tissue, soap, etc.
Sweep and mop with a disinfectant daily.
Kitchen and Break Room Area:
Floors swept and mopped with a disinfectant daily. Floors in snack bar and break room mopped with a disinfectant daily.
Participates in periodic evaluations of performance.
Perform such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as may be required to accompany the essential job functions as directed.
It is expected for employee to be on time each workday as this is essential to the employee's job.
