Position Overview
Index Analytics is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of complex, multi-stakeholder federal initiatives by ensuring disciplined execution of workflows, reliable tracking of deliverables, and clear communication across stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational judgment, the ability to operate independently in structured environments, and a high level of accountability for maintaining visibility into project progress.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support leadership teams in a fast-paced federal project environment.
This position requires an in-person interview at our HQ.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer project tracking to ensure accurate visibility into assignments, timelines, and completion status across multiple workstream
- Enthusiastically undertake project tasks such as producing reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for leadership and client facing reviews.
- Monitor project activities, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with government and external stakeholders.
- Organize, attend, and participate in project meetings.
- Document activities and develop weekly and monthly documentation for client status meetings.
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and able to demonstrate physical residency in the U.S. for at least three (3) of the past five (5) years.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates with relevant project coordination, operations, consulting, or program support experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- CAPM or PMP certification a plus; candidates pursuing certification or willing to earn it after hire are encouraged to apply.
- Four (4) or more years of experience in project support, operations, consulting, or coordination roles within structured, deadline driven environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office suites Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and confidence to learn new skills and acquire content knowledge quickly and independently.

The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions. Index complements its base salary offering with a competitive package that includes health and retirement benefits, discretionary bonuses, and reimbursement for professional development opportunities.
