New-to-District Classified employees may be eligible to receive credit for up to two years’ worth of credit for movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on relevant prior work experience. Please complete the top portion of this form and provide it to your previous employer for completion. To qualify, newly hired employees must provide this form, completed by your former employer(s), to Human Resources no later than the date of their fingerprinting and appointment.

Index: 01/I/02 ($25.26/hour) to 01/I/04 ($27.33/hour) depending on verified experience for NEW to District Employees
Transferring employees or former District employees hired into this role will be placed on the "I" letter grade of the Classified Salary Schedule, but the initial step placement will vary based on a variety of factors.

Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERSI) and are provided to Classified employees who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position and to Certified employees with a .50 FTE or greater contract.

- High school diploma or GED equivalency, preferably supplemented with at least two years of college; and two years administrative and/or accounting experience, with some experience in scheduling preferred; and
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of various computer software programs including Excel software;
- Generate student and teacher master schedule and class lists;
- Manage student registration process, including enrollment, withdrawals, transfers, changes, etc.;
- Generate and distribute student transcripts and records to parents, teachers, universities and colleges, administrators, employers, the military, and other appropriate parties;
- Facilitate all aspects of pre-registration, and organize fall registration;
- Convert student records from previous schools or courses;
- Facilitate year-beginning and year-end transition rollovers;
- Prepare graduation materials; calculate GPA’s; prepare honor roll;
- Prepare and distribute a variety of District reports related to class counts, teacher schedules, grade distribution, enrollment, fund accounting, etc.;
- Serve as student information systems administrator for school;
- Monitor and account for all funds received; manage petty cash; make bank deposits;
- Reconcile accounts; maintain audit trail and participate in the annual audit;
- Perform accounts payable for teachers and materials ordered;
- Manage and monitor the school budget, including ASB funds and district instructional funds;
- Prepare and process the school’s annual order and order supplies throughout the year;
- Process work orders and coordinate facility and equipment maintenance;
- Operate standard and specialized office equipment, including computer hardware/software.
