Must be available to work on additional food service work days not reflected in the FS work schedule calendar to provide meals such as breakfast at secondary sites or meals for elementary (if a designated production site). Additional days worked will be paid on a time card.

District employees will need to complete a transfer application.

New-to-Distirct Classified employees may be eligible to receive credit for up to two years’ worth of credit for movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on relevant prior work experience. Please complete the top portion of this form and provide it to your previous employer for completion. To qualify, newly hired employees must provide this form, completed by your former employer(s), to Human Resources no later than the date of their fingerprinting and appointment.

Index: 01/C/03 ($16.57/hour) to 01/C/05 ($17.91/hour) depending on verified experience for NEW to District Employees *Transferring employees or former District employees hired into this role will be placed on the “C" letter grade of the Classified Salary Schedule, but the initial step placement will vary based on a variety of factors.

• Graduation from High School or equivalent preferred.


• Previous experience with institutional foodservice preferred.


• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for recipes, production sheets, and cashiering.


• Willingness to learn and follow Federal, State, Local, District and Foodservice policies and regulations.


• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.


• Ability to be self-directed.


• Ability to work independently and with a team.


• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with school personnel, students and the public.


• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.


• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
