Independence Jr/Sr High School is seeking the following:
Family Consumer Science Teacher with Early Childhood Certification
- 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications/Education Profile
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Certification/License: State of Iowa Teaching License
- Endorsement(s): 5-12 Family & Consumer Sciences - General (139) and Early Childhood Certification
- Prior successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level is preferred but not required.
- Ability to teach the Early Childhood course sequence. This position will also include a Junior High exploratory class
