Independence Jr/Sr High School is seeking the following:

.5 FTE Life Skills Teacher

  • 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications/Education Profile

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
  • Certification/License:  State of Iowa Teaching License
  • Endorsement(s):  9-12 endorsement
  • Prior successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level is preferred but not required.
  • The successful candidate will teach the Real Living class, which is required for graduation.
