Independence Jr/Sr High School is seeking the following:
.5 FTE PE/Health Teacher
- 2026-2027 School Year
Qualifications/Education Profile
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Certification/License: State of Iowa Teaching License
- Endorsement(s): 5-12 Physical Education (147) and 5-12 Health (138)
- Prior successful teaching experience at the appropriate grade level is preferred but not required.
- This position will be a combination of High School and Junior High PE, including an Early Hour HS Performance PE class
