Dovell & Williams–Isuzu Dealership has an opening for an Assistant Parts Manager at our location in Glen Burnie, MD. This individual will have operational responsibility for the Parts Department. The Assistant Parts Manager will work with the Parts Manager to strive to grow the department and make necessary decisions to maintain a profitable Parts Department.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Parts Manager and/or Branch Manager in achieving an acceptable operating profit for the department by increasing sales and gross profit dollars while also being aware and managing expenses appropriately.
• Assist in overseeing outgoing and incoming freight in order to minimize freight costs and maximize freight recovery charges.
• Review monthly financial reports with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and develop action plans to address any that are below specified goals.
• Recommend to the Parts Manager and/or Branch Manager the pricing strategies that balance volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business.
• Must actively identify prospects for volume sales, such as fleet operators or independent service and repair centers.
