Position Overview:
Inch & Co. Outdoor is seeking an experienced and motivated Mowing Foreman to lead a lawn maintenance crew. This position is responsible for overseeing daily mowing operations, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining efficiency and safety on all job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a mowing crew on a daily basis
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing for residential and commercial properties
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client expectations
- Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and equipment use
- Operate and maintain mowing equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Manage job site schedules and ensure timely completion of work
- Communicate effectively with management and clients as needed
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in lawn maintenance or landscaping required
- Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of mowing practices and equipment operation
- Ability to lead a team and maintain productivity
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to operate trucks and trailers (required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
