Landscaping Mowing Crew Member

Hively Landscapes, a reputable full-service landscaping contractor since 1968, is seeking dedicated Landscaping Mowing Crew Members to join our team. As a Landscaping Mowing Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining residential and commercial properties using a variety of mowing equipment. Part time work to consist of approximately 3 days per week at 8-10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and collaborate with the team at our Dover, PA location.
• Plan daily tasks, load tools and equipment for jobs.
• Travel to and from job sites using our modern fleet of vehicles.
• Operate commercial mowing equipment such as ride-on and walk-behind lawn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers.
• Provide excellent customer service and contribute positively to the team.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and ensure its proper care.
• Assist other crews with landscaping tasks, including leaf removal, during spring and fall seasons.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid drivers license with the ability to commute to the office location daily.
• Experience with commercial lawn mowing equipment is preferred but not required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction.
• Ability to pass the U.S. Department of Transportation physical and random drug & alcohol testing.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, twist, kneel, and work with hands and tools.
• Capability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, and dry environments.

$18-$20/hour
