As the Senior Human Resources Director, you will lead people strategy across the entire organization. This role operates at the core of the business, partnering directly with each division to shape workforce strategy, elevate employee relations, strengthen compliance, and drive retention outcomes.
This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role not a back-office HR function. You’ll be embedded alongside operational leaders, influencing decisions in real time, navigating complex challenges, building trust across teams, and contributing to key planning efforts that support both employees and the broader organization.

What You Get To Do
- HR Strategy & Organizational Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s overall HR strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
- Build and scale HR programs, policies, and infrastructure to support company growth
- Lead and develop the HR function, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and high performance
- Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide strategic oversight of employee relations, including complex investigations and high-risk situations
- Guide and support leaders in managing performance, accountability, and team effectiveness
- Design and lead performance management frameworks, including reviews, feedback systems, and development planning
- Establish best practices for conflict resolution and escalation management
- Culture, Engagement, & Development
- Define and drive initiatives that strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and retention
- Partner with Talent Acquisition & Engagement Manager to align hiring and engagement strategies with organizational goals
- Oversee employee recognition, engagement programs, and internal communications strategies
- Establish and support leadership development and training programs across the organization
- Transformation & Standardization: Lead HR integration efforts, standardize processes, and drive adoption of consistent practices across multiple states.
MUST HAVE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
- HR Leadership Experience: 8 years of progressive HR experience in multi-site or complex environments, including strategic planning, talent acquisition, workforce planning, change management, organizational development, and workers’ compensation
- Leadership: Proven leader with 2 years of experience managing human resources directors, with proven performance management, coaching, and leadership influence.
- HR Knowledge & Compliance: Strong knowledge of employment law and multi-state compliance, employee relations, performance management, D&I, succession planning, and organizational change.
- Business & Financial Acumen with Data-Driven Insights: Ability to connect HR strategy to operational and financial outcomes: including budgeting, P&L oversight, and workforce planning; while leveraging HR and financial data to generate reports, identify trends, and support strategic, data-informed decisions across the region.
