The Client Manager works with and supports Producers and Client Executives to manage client service delivery throughout the insurance renewal and policy period on an assigned book of business. The role is client facing and team focused, using professional skills in commercial property and casualty insurance to enhance and expand complex client relationships.
The Client Manager works with and supports Producers and Client Executives to manage client service delivery throughout the insurance renewal and policy period on an assigned book of business. The role is client facing and team focused, using professional skills in commercial property and casualty insurance to enhance and expand complex client relationships.
- Manage day-to-day activities of client accounts including, but not limited to, policy review, changes and updates, contract reviews, preparing renewal documents, marketing and negotiating insurance programs, and financial statements related to the client's insurance.
- Processes (during non-renewal periods) applications, policies, endorsements, binders/notice of elections, certificates, auto ID cards, audit requests/review, and other items related to the servicing of clients.
- Research and compile answers to client's policy, coverage, exclusions and related questions, incorporating support from other team members as needed.
- Responsible for assisting in establishing and maintaining appropriate carrier relationships
- Maintain client files accurately and consistently; responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all in accordance with company workflows, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage client inquiries and work with insurance partners and/or internal teams to resolve client issues.
- Responsible for knowing the requirements and attributes of all insurance company partners while maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company and their resources.
- Responsible for coordinating service delivery for accounts as assigned including developing initial placement/renewal strategy
- Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites
- Must have strong Excel skills, ability to create and manage large spreadsheets of data
- Stay informed on regulatory changes
- Completes special projects as assigned
