Client Operations Associate

Boston, MA | Hybrid – 3 days in office

$80K–$90K, Outstanding Benefits and PTO

We are excited to be representing a highly respected firm seeking a Client Operations Associate to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on client service and operations role for someone who is proactive, curious, responsive, and enjoys a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with Relationship Managers and collaborate across the firm, gaining exposure to client service, portfolio reporting, accounting, and investment operations.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with monthly portfolio reporting
• Maintain portfolio reporting and CRM systems
• Process account openings and ongoing account maintenance
• Handle client bill pay and investment-related money movement
• Reconcile client bank, brokerage, and investment accounts
• Respond to requests from clients, custodians, fund managers, and service providers
• Manage a high volume of communications and ensure timely follow-through
• Support Relationship Managers and collaborate with Investment and Tax & Estate Planning teams
• Assist with special projects and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in private client operations, middle office, fund accounting, banking, insurance, custodial services, RIA, or a similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proactive and resourceful with a strong sense of urgency
• Intellectually curious and eager to learn
• Highly responsive, dependable, and flexible
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills and a genuine client-service mindset
