Senior Database Administrator

Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000/year

Location: ONSITE - Oklahoma City, OK

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Database Administrator to join their team!

This role is perfect for someone excited about not just solving data issues, but also amplifying the organization’s vision around data processes and warehousing—bringing structure, clarity, and long-term strategy to how data is managed and used across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server environments, including production and test instances, while managing availability groups and failover clustering.
• Monitor and tune database performance, optimize queries, and conduct capacity planning to ensure long-term efficiency and scalability.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, index rebuilding, and statistics updates.
• Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance or availability issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation covering database architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Advise on system architecture and improvements based on Microsoft SQL Server best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive SQL/SQL Server experience
• ETL Processes; specifically understand how that data is consumed by reports
• PowerBI; integrating data infrastructure into PowerBI/data sets
• Fluent in stored procedures
• Data warehousing experience
• Linked servers to SQL Servers
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-related challenges, develop practical solutions, and take ownership of hands-on implementation and issue resolution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Great soft skills 
• NOT heads down
• Ability to work with leaders and upper level executives 
• Knowledge of and experience managing cash processes/allowances
