Position: Metal Fabricator / Welder
Compensation: $50,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Metal Fabricator / Welder to join their team!
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on fabricator who enjoys custom work and wants to contribute to unique, one-off projects. The team is looking to add two experienced professionals to help meet urgent production needs in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Build and assemble custom metal projects.
- Perform MIG welding, primarily on aluminum.
- Complete some steel welding as needed.
- Read and follow prints when applicable.
- Grind, sand, and finish fabricated parts.
- Work collaboratively to deliver quality builds on time.
- Support custom fabrication work from start to finish.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- MIG welding experience from school or on the job.
- Experience working in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Ability to show up consistently and work with pride.
- Willingness to learn and improve skills.
- Comfort working on custom fabrication projects.
- Some experience level beyond entry level preferred.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Aluminum welding experience.
- TIG welding experience.
- Custom fabrication experience.
- Sign industry experience.
- Experience running jobs with minimal supervision.
- Ability to support and guide others on larger builds.
