IT Support Technician

Position: IT Support Technician

Compensation: $23 - $30/hour, depending on experience

Location: ONSITE - Hastings, NE

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Support Technician to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for an adaptable IT professional who enjoys hands-on support in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll assist users with endpoint, printer, audiovisual, and Microsoft Office support while partnering with network and AV teams on deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements. The position offers steady onsite work, meaningful responsibility, and the chance to support a critical 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide frontline support for endpoints, printers, peripherals, and Microsoft Office issues
• Gather network request details and route items to the proper team
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and onsite technology issues
• Document repairs, installs, removals, and support activity accurately
• Track endpoint assignments, moves, replacements, and returns
• Support device setup, maintenance, and security readiness
• Work in IDFs and MDFs following documentation and cable standards
• Assist with technology projects in active construction areas
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of desktop or helpdesk experience, or equivalent leadership experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in corporate support environments
• Experience supporting endpoints, peripherals, printers, and AV systems
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet switches and wireless access points
• Understanding of structured cabling and basic LAN/WAN concepts
• Ability to work onsite in active construction areas
• Comfort following safety requirements and PPE procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize work and manage tasks independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Bomgar or similar remote support tools
• ServiceNow or Salesforce help desk experience
• IT certifications such as A , MCP, MCDST, or CCNA
• Experience in a 24/7 corporate IT environment

Other Information:

• Primarily onsite role with limited future remote flexibility possible
• Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support
• No weekend coverage required unless needed
• Role supports a large campus and collaborative technical teams
• Must complete required safety training for site access
