Position: IT Support Technician
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Support Technician to join their team!
This is a hands-on, highly technical support role supporting critical refinery and field operations environments. You’ll be the go-to for end-user and infrastructure support across a wide range of technologies—from desktops and laptops to printers, networks, telecom, and basic server support. The environment is small, fast-moving, and very collaborative, offering exposure to both business LAN and refinery product control lab settings. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants to grow quickly, wear multiple hats, and gain real operational experience in an industrial tech environment!
Responsibilities:
- Provide Service Desk support and resolve tickets using ServiceNow
- Deliver direct end-user support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Support printers, copiers, scanners, AV equipment, and telecom devices
- Assist with basic networking tasks (Ethernet cabling, switches, connectivity troubleshooting)
- Perform light server and system monitoring and basic infrastructure support
- Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft OS and application software
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-3 years of IT or business-related technical support experience
- Ability to obtain a TWIC badge
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs and work in field/refinery environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Exposure to industrial, refinery, or field IT environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft OS deployment, imaging, and basic network troubleshooting
