Position: IT Configuration Tech
Compensation: $20 - 21/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Configuration Tech to join their team!
This contract role supports IT equipment preparation and hardware setup for store operations. It is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on technical experience who enjoys troubleshooting, device testing, and supporting hardware deployment projects.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Test returned IT equipment for functionality
- Clean and prepare hardware for reuse
- Support warranty-related equipment tasks
- Pull equipment for new and existing stores
- Assist with hardware configuration work
- Run diagnostics on IT equipment
- Work with IT vendors on repair needs
- Support RMA repair processes
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Basic PC knowledge and experience
- Ability to test and troubleshoot hardware
- Experience handling returned IT equipment
- Comfort working with diagnostics tools
- Experience supporting equipment repairs
- Ability to assist with hardware configuration tasks
- Experience working with IT vendors
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with RMA repairs
- Background supporting retail store equipment
- Familiarity with hardware deployment projects
