HR Generalist / Payroll

Position: HR Generalist / Payroll

Compensation: $ 55,000 - 75,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Muskogee, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled HR Generalist / Payroll to join their team!

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and making a real impact day to day. In this role, you’ll support core HR functions while handling a light payroll workload, giving you the chance to stay involved across the employee lifecycle in a stable, hands-on environment. With a strong focus on trust, initiative, and ownership, this position offers the opportunity to step into a key role reporting directly to leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Support payroll processing and review time approvals
• Handle HR functions including hiring and onboarding
• Assist with employee relations and offboarding processes
• Support benefits administration and related employee questions
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Partner with leadership on day-to-day HR needs
• Help ensure smooth and compliant HR operations

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in human resources, payroll, or a combined HR role
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable working independently as a sole contributor
• Ability to take initiative and follow through on responsibilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience supporting both HR and payroll functions
• Prior onboarding, benefits, or employee relations experience
• Experience in a role with limited payroll volume
• Familiarity with working directly with leadership or finance teams
