AP Clerk

Position: AP Clerk

Compensation: $20 - $22 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP Clerk to join their team!

This is a fantastic contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, staying on top of details, and supporting a busy accounting team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the accounts payable process, helping ensure invoices are accurately entered, reviewed, and paid on time. If you’re reliable, proactive, and comfortable communicating across departments, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Sort, review, and organize incoming invoices
• Enter non-PO invoices into Sage
• Verify approvals, receipts, and correct GL coding
• Reconcile freight, credit card, and vendor invoices
• Process payments through vendor portals as needed
• Prepare weekly check runs and file documentation
• Support ACH and automatic payment entries in Sage
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate payment and transaction records

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous accounts payable or accounting support experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using accounting systems such as Sage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Reliable, professional, and eager to learn new processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with invoice reconciliation
• Familiarity with check runs and ACH payments
• Experience supporting PO invoice processing
• Knowledge of freight invoice matching
• Experience with document management systems
