What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard- 2026 Seasonal position at Inc. Village of Hempstead?
Applicants will be required to work outside in extreme weather conditions.
- Patrols areas and observes activities; enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assists with rescue of helpless swimmers; administers first aid and applies resuscitation measures when necessary.
- Keeps first aid supplies and resuscitation equipment ready for instant use.
- May give swimming instructions
- May assist in the preparation of accident reports.
Other duties as required
