Position Summary
The Event Specialist supports the planning and execution of high-profile events, meetings, and hospitality functions for the Office of the President. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences for trustees, donors, dignitaries, faculty, students, and other distinguished visitors while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate presidential events, receptions, dinners, meetings, and special functions.
- Manage invitations, guest communications, RSVPs, and event logistics.
- Provide onsite event support, including setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Coordinate hospitality arrangements, accommodations, and transportation for VIP guests.
- Prepare event materials and support executive briefings.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
Qualifications
- Experience in event management, hospitality, executive support, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Professional demeanor with excellent judgment and discretion.
