Title: Automation Control Engineer

Location: Fishers, IN

Duration: Contract


We are hiring a PLC Automation Engineer for a leading engineering and automation solutions company working across manufacturing, life sciences, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop PLC-based automation systems
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and control systems
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization
  • Support production and maintenance teams
  • Maintain technical documentation

Required Skills

  • PLC Programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text)
  • Experience with Rockwell / Siemens / GE (Allen-Bradley preferred)
  • Industrial protocols: Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics & control diagrams
  • AutoCAD Electrical (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical / Automation / Computer Engineering
  • 3–5 years of industrial automation experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
