Job Summary:
Seeking a senior nuclear licensing professional to support a new nuclear development program. The consultant will develop licensing and environmental strategies, manage NRC regulatory submittals, and coordinate with reactor vendors, engineering teams, regulators, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead preparation and review of PSAR/FSAR, Technical Specifications, and licensing-basis documents.
Manage NRC licensing and regulatory submittals, responses, and commitments.
Coordinate with NRC, reactor technology vendors, A/E firms, and internal teams.
Ensure licensing documents are accurate, compliant, traceable, and audit-ready.
Support environmental, regulatory, and nuclear program areas including fire protection, emergency preparedness, cybersecurity, radiation protection, security, and ODCM.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
10 years of commercial nuclear power plant experience in Licensing, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental, or related functions.
Direct NRC-facing experience.
Strong knowledge of NRC regulations and nuclear licensing processes.
Experience with PSAR/FSAR, Technical Specifications, licensing basis, and regulatory submittals.
Excellent communication, leadership, and regulatory documentation skills.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred: New-reactor/advanced-reactor experience and CP/OL licensing project experience.
