We are seeking a Buyer to join a well-established industrial distributor in the Macedonia area.
This is a hands-on role focused on day-to-day purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination within a fast-paced distribution environment. This is not a strategic sourcing position — the focus is on execution, organization, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
• Place purchase orders with existing vendors
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels and replenish stock
• Track, expedite, and follow up on orders
• Coordinate with internal teams including order processing and warehouse
• Communicate with vendors regarding availability, pricing, and lead times
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and spreadsheets
Qualifications:
• Experience in purchasing, buying, inventory, or supply chain
• Background in distribution or product-based environment preferred
• Comfortable working with parts and product specifications (mechanical aptitude preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with computers and systems (Excel experience helpful)
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Onsite in Macedonia, OH
Compensation & Benefits:
• $50,000 – $70,000 based on experience
