Duties
- Coordinate procurement activities using our ERP system to ensure timely purchasing aligned with production schedules and inventory needs
- Manage supplier relationships through effective vendor management.
- Oversee purchase order processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to optimize inventory control, supply chain flow, and logistics planning
- Monitor procurement metrics including pricing trends, lead times, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing internal inquiries related to order status, delivery schedules, and product availability
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems for procurement management and inventory control
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including sourcing, logistics, vendor management, and inventory optimization
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and how procurement impacts production efficiency
- Excellent communication skills for negotiating with suppliers and collaborating across departments
- Ability to analyze procurement data using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to forecast needs accurately
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
