We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Executive to lead territory growth for modernization and new installation component sales within an assigned region. This fully remote, home-office-based role is responsible for developing customer relationships, growing market share, managing sales activities, and supporting customers through technical solutions, contract negotiations, and product training. This position requires regular in-person customer visits and approximately 50% travel.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth for elevator modernization, new equipment, and component product lines within an assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts through regular in-person visits
- Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and business plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Manage sales processes including estimating, quoting, and booking orders
- Coordinate with internal departments such as customer support, logistics, planning, finance, and quality to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support marketing efforts through advertising initiatives, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Negotiate contracts and provide ongoing customer support, troubleshooting, and technical guidance
- Track and report sales and marketing performance data to management
- Assist with collection efforts in partnership with the finance team
- Ensure customer concerns and complaints are resolved promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- 3 years of technical sales experience in the elevator industry with knowledge of modernization, new equipment, or elevator component sales OR 5 years of sales experience in building products
- Proven success growing a sales territory and building strong customer relationships
- Strong presentation, communication, and contract negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/management software
- Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Compensation
Base Salary: $80,000 – $110,000, based on qualifications and experience
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
