Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinic/Ambulatory to join our client. The ideal candidate will provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in an outpatient/clinic setting, supporting pre-operative, intra-clinic, and post-operative workflows while demonstrating strong IV and phlebotomy proficiency. Key Responsibilities· Deliver professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory/outpatient surgical environment.· Conduct patient assessments, triage, and clinical evaluations in the clinic.· Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and specimen collection safely and accurately.· Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as ordered by providers.· Provide patient and family education, including pre- and post-procedure care instructions.· Monitor patient condition and assist with clinical procedures when required.· Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.· Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.· Ensure infection control, patient safety, and quality care protocols are followed. Required Skills & Experience· Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic/ambulatory experience in an acute or outpatient care setting.· Strong clinical assessment and triage abilities.· IV insertion and phlebotomy proficiency is required.· Experience in ambulatory surgery or outpatient procedural units preferred.· Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills. Education· Associate’s Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program. Required Certifications & Licensure· Active New York State RN License.· Primary Source Verification of RN License & Registration from the NYS Department of Education (NYSED).· AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
