Position SummaryProject Managers are assigned to programs and initiatives under the direction of designated initiative leads. The role provides project-level support for key workstreams within complex direct service programs. This position requires independent work, cross-agency coordination, and the ability to lead change within a collaborative team environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities· Provide end-to-end project lifecycle support for assigned workstreams, including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.· Develop, implement, and maintain project templates, tools, and trackers to monitor progress, outcomes, and key performance indicators.· Facilitate the collection, analysis, and dissemination of project information and regular status updates.· Monitor project milestones and deliverables; proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks or issues.· Serve as a primary point of contact for NYC Health Hospitals departments, City agencies, and external vendors or contractors.· Assist in planning and delivering trainings, including development of training materials as needed.· Provide on-site support related to project implementation, oversight, and quality assurance.· Offer policy and operational guidance and contribute to strategies aimed at improving service delivery within assigned workstreams.· Assist with invoice review and approvals; provide input and recommendations related to budget planning and financial tracking. Required Qualifications & Skills· Minimum of 3 years of program or project management experience.· Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.· Strong change management and problem-solving skills.· Demonstrated ability to build and maintain cooperative, productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor technical content to varied audiences (e.g., leadership, administrative staff, front-line staff).· High level of accuracy, transparency, accountability, and attention to detail.· Flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic work ethic.· Experience managing multiple external contractors or vendors is strongly preferred.Oracle Experience is required. Preferred Experience· Bachelor’s degree (preferred).· Experience working with the NYC Department of Education, Administration for Children’s Services, or other educational programs.· Experience collaborating with educators, administrators, case management staff, parents, and/or children.· Experience in community engagement and/or working with community-based organizations or nonprofit service providers.· Fluency in languages other than English, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
