We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support day-to-day operations at a San Francisco property. This role provides administrative coverage when the General Manager is absent, ensures excellent customer service, and maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This is a non-exempt role working a standard 40-hour week, with overtime at the manager’s discretion.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist with tenant communication, bookkeeping, reporting, and office administration.
• Schedule and coordinate desk clerk coverage; prepare and update monthly schedules.
• Provide front desk coverage (average two shifts per week) and relief coverage as needed.
• Approve site expenses, manage payroll, and resolve emergent issues in the GM’s absence.
• Track occupancy, process invoices, and support leasing and move-out activities.
Job Skills/Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, administration, or property management experience.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce familiarity preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and provide on-call coverage.
