Job Summary:

Press operator operates heavy press to bend, form, and straighten metal parts as specified by blueprints.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up tools and machinery
• Load and unload parts in press
• Assist in changing dies
• Visually inspect parts and perform quality checks at each tooling changeover
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications (Required)

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)

Job Qualifications (Preferred):

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous press experience

Physical Requirements of the Job:

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
• Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
• Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
• Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends

Monday-Friday
1st shift 6am to 2:30pm
Possible overtime during the week and on weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
