Job Summary
Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to club members and their guests. As the first point of contact, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere within the club’s dining and event areas.
Typical Schedule
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings
Sunday (all day)
Holidays as scheduled
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review reservations for dining, events, and private functions; ensure efficient seating arrangements and proper dining room setup.
Answer phones professionally, assist with reservations, and follow up with management as needed.
Warmly greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival.
Escort members and guests to their tables, provide menus, and share relevant information.
Build rapport with club members, recognizing preferences and delivering personalized service.
Uphold club policies regarding dress code, etiquette, and member experience.
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Provide information about club facilities, amenities, and upcoming events.
Assist with cleanup and closing duties as assigned.
Maintain a neat, professional appearance in line with the company dress code.
Adhere to all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
Promote a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and staff.
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering personalized service.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Knowledge of reservation systems such as ForeTees is a plus.
Prior experience in hospitality or upscale dining preferred.
Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult or unruly patrons.
Proficient in English—able to listen, speak, read, and write fluently.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hospitality or club experience preferred.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Frequent reaching with hands and arms; ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Visual acuity to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
Clear verbal communication and ability to discern sounds at a normal speaking level.
Comfortable working in a moderate noise environment.
