Impact Staffing International (ISI) is seeking an Underwriting Services Assistant I to join our client’s underwriting operations team. This role will support underwriters by handling essential operational and administrative tasks related to insurance policies. This is a 6–12 month contract with potential for full-time conversion, based in Broomfield, CO, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 remote).

• Triage and manage a shared team email inbox, routing and responding to inquiries appropriately
• Perform entry-level underwriting support tasks such as binding, endorsements, cancellations, and policy reissuances
• Work primarily from internal systems, queues, and Outlook to process requests efficiently
• Collaborate with underwriters and team members to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Participate in a structured training program including side-by-side training and quality review
• Gain “authority” on tasks through demonstrated proficiency and internal evaluations
• Provide customer service support via chat line (approximately 4 hours/week after training)
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, production-driven environmentRequired Skills and Background:
• High school diploma required (no prior experience required)
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment
