What You Will Be Doing

• Serving as the primary technical authority for custom industrial systems, bridging the gap between engineering design and customer needs
• Managing a high volume of technical consultations (20-25 daily) via telephone and virtual meetings to investigate customer requirements
• Applying mechanical engineering principles to analyze data and provide optimized equipment proposals
• Utilizing industry-specific automated software to generate and refine technical quotes in as little as 15 minutes
• Collaborating with the internal sales and engineering teams to solve complex problems and suggest alternative system configurations

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related engineering field
• Experience: 2 years of mechanical design or technical applications experience within an industrial setting
• Communication: Elite phone skills; you must genuinely enjoy the "consultative" aspect of the role and be comfortable handling 20 technical calls per day
• Stability: A solid, consistent work history showing professional growth and reliability
• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical intuition and the ability to learn complex, proprietary software quickly
• Strong Pluses: Prior experience with heat transfer applications or thermodynamics; experience with industrial sales or technical support
