What You Will Be Doing
- Pursuing and developing long-term relationships with General Contractors, developers, and facility owners for new construction and service division opportunities.
- Estimating comprehensive mechanical project costs, equipment/material requirements, and manpower hours for diverse commercial HVAC systems.
- Leading the "Design/Build" lifecycle by communicating technical project requirements to the internal design team, field superintendents, and project managers.
- Initiating new regional sales contacts and soliciting competitive material bids to assemble high-margin, winning quotes.
- Attending pre-construction alignment meetings and job closeouts to ensure a seamless handoff between sales wins and physical project execution.
- Monitoring active project milestones and providing strategic recommendations to ensure total customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Managing an established portfolio of maintenance clients to ensure stable, recurring service contract revenue.
- Industry Track Record: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in the HVAC sector or equivalent technical estimating/sales experience within the commercial construction market.
- Technical Knowledge: General mastery of commercial HVAC system design, local Wisconsin mechanical codes, and various complex industrial installations.
- Interpersonal Dynamics: A proven ability to build immediate rapport and credibility with General Contractors, field foremen, and internal engineering teams.
- Digital & Software Literacy: Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrating a strong willingness to learn advanced, precision digital estimating software platforms.
- Professional Attributes: A high level of personal initiative, integrity, and the sharp organizational skills required to manage multiple high-stakes bids simultaneously.
- Reliability: A stable work history backed by a concrete track record of meeting technical accuracy requirements and revenue targets.
