Impact Living Services is hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time Community Based Counselors in the AMHERST, VA area.
Impact Living Services is a private non-profit organization specializing in Foster Care, Independent Living and Behavioral Health Services. ILS is seeking qualified QMHP, Licensed or Licensed Eligible Mental Health Professionals to provide Community Based Services throughout the greater Lynchburg Region.

Qualifications:
- Must possess either a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Must be either registered QMHP, Licensed or Licensed Eligible from the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP).
- Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience working with children/adolescents and adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
- Travel required - must have a valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience:
- 1 year working with children and families with a mental health diagnosis (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Master’s (Preferred)
License:
- QMHP (Required)
- LMHP (R) (preferred)
