What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Impact Employment Solutions?
Our esteemed client in Mentor is in need of QC Shop Inspectors to join their team. They are in need of individuals with a keen eye for detail to inspected machined components.
Shifts: 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available
Rate of Pay: $20-$22/hr- depending on shift
Job Description:
- Inspection of machined copper and alumnium electrical connectors
- Check parts for quality defects utilizing blueprints, calipers, thread plugs, and gage pins
- All findings are documented with use of Microsoft Excel
- Point of contact for the shift in terms of working with leaders and Machine Operators to make all necessary adjustments
- Assist with training Machine Operators in quality control
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong observational and problem solving skills
- Ability to read blueprints, utilize quality gaging equipment
- Basic computer skills, using Excel and email communication
- Ability to work independently, but strong communication skills with their team
