About the Role
Assembly Tool Specialists is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting custom tools and gages to ensure they meet print and tolerance requirements before going to customers.
This is a hands-on role in a shop environment. You’ll be working directly with parts, prints, and inspection equipment daily.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect finished custom tools and gages for accuracy and quality
- Use measuring and inspection equipment, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gages
- Optical comparator
- Surface plate, pin gages, and thread gages
- Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances
- Verify parts meet specifications before shipment
- Record and document inspection results
- Work with production to address and correct any quality issues
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and consistent attendance
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior inspection or quality control experience
- Manufacturing or machining background
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- No weekends
