Must-Haves

• 5 years of procurement or purchasing leadership in food or grocery distribution
• Proven vendor negotiation skills, including pricing, programs, and supplier funding
• Inventory management expertise that improves margin and cash flow
• People leadership experience, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
• Experience supporting key account retention and new business bids
• Onsite in Davenport, IA. Relocation assistance available.

What You'll Do

• Lead procurement and purchasing, keeping inventory lean and service levels high
• Negotiate supplier pricing and programs that maximize profitability and vendor participation
• Direct all marketing initiatives, from trade shows and digital campaigns to sales incentives and product launches
• Drive strategic bid analyses for major prospective and existing accounts
• Grow private-label and exclusive product lines with sales, category, and culinary teams
• Oversee freight control and specialized merchandising teams
• Build and develop a high-performing procurement team
