Must-Haves

- NADCAP Certification: Expert-level experience with Chemical Processing (CP) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) audits.
- Plating Industry Background: Must understand metal finishing processes (Anodizing, Electroplating, etc.) and the chemistry involved.
- Quality Leadership: Proven success managing AS9100 or ISO 9001 systems in an aerospace or medical manufacturing environment.
- Technical Compliance: Strong ability to handle strict regulatory requirements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Role Overview
The Quality Manager is a pivotal technical leader within our facility. This role is designed for a professional who understands the niche plating environment and the chemistry required to maintain elite standards. You will be the primary authority on our certifications, ensuring that our chemical processing and NDT standards exceed customer expectations. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain the high-level critical detail that our aerospace and medical clients rely on.
Key Responsibilities
- Certification Stewardship: Lead all NADCAP (Chemical Processing and NDT) and AS9100 audit preparations; maintain rigorous documentation and traceability.
- Process Integrity: Oversee daily quality control for complex plating lines, ensuring precision in masking, plating, and finishing operations.
- Technical Guidance: Serve as the subject matter expert for chemical bath analysis, plating thickness, and material testing protocols.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to solve unique finishing challenges and implement robust corrective actions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the quality department, fostering a culture of precision and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Deep familiarity with the aerospace, electronics, or medical device manufacturing landscapes.
- ASQ certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and interface with global engineering partners.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools to analyze data and generate reports.
