Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of experience in accounting and auditing, preferably in public accounting
- Single audit experience under Uniform Guidance and OMB compliance
- Strong technical skills in audit execution and financial statement preparation
- Proficiency with audit software, financial management systems, and QuickBooks
- CPA license or actively working toward licensure
Highly Preferred
- Active CPA license
- Non-profit and/or municipal audit experience
- Familiarity with grant compliance and regulatory requirements
What You'll Do
- Plan, execute, and complete financial audits for non-profit, municipal, and small business clients
- Perform single audits in accordance with GAAS and Government Auditing Standards
- Prepare financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation with precision
- Identify audit findings and communicate recommendations clearly to clients
- Supervise and mentor staff auditors to support team development
- Collaborate with managers and partners to deliver timely, high-quality audit engagements
